Hello! We will be in Disney World during Thanksgiving. I haven't seen anything about Dining Packages on Thanksgiving Day yet. Do you have any info or know when this might be updated? Also, any info on Narrators for Candlelight Processional?

    Hi Beckie!

Welcome back to planDisney!  I can't think of a better place to spend Thanksgiving than in The Most Magical Place on Earth - it's certainly a festive and exciting time around the parks!  With so much to see and do, it's a great idea to make your plans early so you don't miss any of your top priorities.

Beckie, dining reservations and theme park hours are typically available 60 days in advance.  Over the next few weeks, I'd suggest keeping a close eye on the Disney Parks Blog as more details about those special seasonal offerings may be released soon.  I'm also planning an upcoming trip this holiday season and can't wait for some of the same announcements.  I hope to book a Candlelight Processional Dining Package to guarantee seats for me and my family for this spectacular show during our visit to EPCOT!

While you're waiting to hear if any restaurants will offer special menus or packages for Thanksgiving, I'm happy to share that there are a few restaurants that offer a Thanksgiving-inspired meal any day of the year.  My panelist pal, Jonathan, recently shared about one of these options - Liberty Tree Tavern at Magic Kingdom Park.  The Diamond Horseshoe, also found in Magic Kingdom Park, has a similar menu including roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, and stuffing.  Over at Disney's Hollywood Studios, you can have your turkey and potatoes served alongside Minnie Mouse and friends at Hollywood and Vine during Minnie's Seasonal Dining.  You may also want to keep an eye out for a Foodie Guide to the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays.  The Foodie Guide for last year's festival included a dish that was slow roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans, and cranberry sauce available from the American Holiday Table Holiday Kitchen. . .maybe it will be back again this year!

Beckie, I hope these suggestions are helpful while we both wait to hear more specific details about what's happening this holiday season at Walt Disney World Resort!  If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!

    Cheers,
    Kristi
