    Will be at Disney World 6/8 & we are on the dining plan. Our plane lands at 12:33pm & we are staying at POFQ. We have lunch reservations at Les Chef de France at 2:50pm. Do we loose a lunch credit if our plane is late and we don't make the res?

    Hi Debra! I love how you're planning to make the most of your time at Walt Disney World by heading straight to the parks when you arrive. At restaurants like Chefs de France, which doesn't have a cancellation policy or require a credit card guarantee, you won't lose one of your Dining Plan meal credits if you don't make it to your reservation.  (Of course, if it looks like you won't be able to keep a dining reservation, it's always nice to call and cancel it so the time slot can be offered to other guests.)

    I think you're right to be worried about not making your Chefs de France reservation. It's likely that you won't arrive at the Port Orleans French Quarter until 2 p.m. or even later, and then you'll have to hop on a bus to Epcot and take a long walk from the entrance to the other side of the park where the restaurant is located. I think it's quite possible that you won't be able to get there by 2:50, even if you hustle. You might want to move your dining reservation time later, or book a reservation at a restaurant closer to the Port Orleans. Downtown Disney is very convenient to Port Orleans, and there are some great spots there for a late lunch. My family likes the Wolfgang Puck Cafe, and Raglan Road is also very popular. Both of those restaurants accept the Dining Plan and you'd have a much better chance of getting to them by 2:50 p.m.
