We are going to Disney world in August for the first time & have a character breakfast booked at the Crystal Palace at 8:45am, would I need to get a Minnie van to get us to the Park in time for our reservation and if so where would it drop us off?

Hi there, Claire! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for taking the time to submit your Walt Disney World Resort question!

I personally believe breakfast reservations are the perfect way to start off a magical day at Walt Disney World Resort! I have many fond memories of my family and myself arriving at Magic Kingdom before opening time and enjoying a nice, big breakfast before embarking on our day of adventure.

The Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom is one of my go-to spots for these early morning advanced dining reservations! My husband is a huge Winnie the Pooh fan and adores getting pictures with all the characters regardless of his age! I love the delicious, all-you-care-to-enjoy feast and gorgeous Victorian greenhouse theme found throughout this dining location. Regardless of your age, The Crystal Palace is sure to be a favorite after your first visit!

Complimentary bus transportation begins 45 minutes prior to the park opening in the morning. So, depending on the hours of Magic Kingdom, this may actually be an option for you and your family!

Minnie Van Service is also a great way to arrive on-time to those early morning reservations! Minnie Vans are driven by friendly Cast Members and are easily reserved using the Lyft app. If you do use this service for transportation to Magic Kingdom, you will be dropped off right next to the bus terminals near the front entrance. This can be a lifesaver whenever you end up running late!

Hopefully, this information will help you and your family have a grand time at The Crystal Palace!
