Hi Elizabeth,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for asking us an excellent question!
I visited Walt Disney World Resort without my little guy a bunch of times when he was itty bitty. Although I missed his chubby toothless smiles, I will fully admit that it was lovely having some “me” time in the Parks. Eating with two hands, with actual utensils, while my food is still hot? YES PLEASE!!
I have some good and bad news for you about being able to pump and store your milk during your upcoming visit. Unfortunately,
glass containers aren’t allowed in the Theme Parks, unless they’re small baby food jars. Because of this, I don’t think that you’ll be able to bring your large glass water bottle into the Theme Parks during your stay. My advice would be to find a sturdy plastic bottle that will fit your rubber sleeve so that you can keep up your habit while you’re away from your little one.
The good news, however, is that the
Baby Care Centers in each Theme Park will be able to help you out! Not only do they have quiet and comfortable (and cool!) rooms for nursing and pumping moms, I believe that they may even have ice packs and other supplies that will help you better store your milk while you’re in the Parks. Just ask the Cast Member at each Center what your options are; they’ll probably have a bunch that you haven’t even thought of yet!
Please don’t hesitate to come see us if you have any other questions. We’re always happy to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
