Hi Christine,
Thanks for sailing by with another question. I'm happy to help!
Although my husband and I enjoyed a 75-minute couples massage on Disney Wish in April, I have to admit, your mention of the Zero Gravity Suite and Hydration Suite had me stumped. I couldn't recall seeing those options when we booked our services at Senses Spa, but here at planDisney, your wish is our command, so I did a little digging on your behalf.
Based on some first-hand reports I encountered in my research, the specialty suites you mention have previously included private use of the suite with hot tub and shower, a foot scrub/bathing service, savory and sweet confections, a tea ceremony, and choice of spa treatment from a pre-determined list of options. The main draw for the spa services here are the state-of-the-art treatment beds that offer an assortment of lying positions and sensory enhancements which will have you feeling like you're floating on air, or water respectively. I reached out to a Disney Cruise Line Cast Member to confirm the current offerings and she shared that you can opt for the 50-minute "Float on Air Immersive Experience" in the Zero Gravity Suite, or the "Float on Water Immersive Experience" in the Hydration Suite, OR choose from one of 5 other 50 minute offerings such as the ELEMIS Aroma Stone Therapy, or Intensely Cleansing Salt Scrub.
While offerings are always subject to change, it sounds like these suites offer some additional time for relaxation and privacy, though they are more expensive than a standard couples massage service. I'll add that though my husband and I both enjoyed our couples massage, we would have loved the opportunity for additional time to relax together before and/or after the actual treatment. The pre-service waiting areas are separated by gender, and I personally found the seating area to be quite small, though the locker and shower areas were more spacious. Upon completion of our massage, we were escorted to the exit to enjoy the remainder of our day. Of course, all good things must come to an end, but it would have been nice to savor the experience together outside of our actual massages.
At this time, both the Zero Gravity Suite and Hydration Suite are only available to reserve once onboard the ship. The Cast Member I spoke with confirmed that Disney Cruise Line is still in the process of updating these listings online, but encouraged you to continue checking your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App prior to sailing to see if these suites are available to reserve. If you are on the fence you can always opt for a standard couples massage and consider purchasing an additional pass for the Rainforest. This is a unique indoor-outdoor space on Disney Wish with saunas, steam rooms, loungers, and whirlpool spas. You can purchase a length of cruise pass to enjoy time at this tranquil oasis each day of your sailing or inquire about 1-day passes which may be available upon boarding.
As you finalize your itinerary don't forget to reserve other Onboard Activities and Port Adventures. You'll be able to reserve experiences once your cruise is paid in full, according to your Castaway Club level. I hope this was helpful Christine. If we can be of further assistance please don't hesitate to reach out to us again.
Magic and memories,
Amy
