Welcome aboard, Nellie! I'm glad you cruised on in to visit us today.
The very first thing I want to say about
Disney Cruise Line is that they are completely on top of recommendations and precautions when it comes to health and safety, so it's going to be really important to
check the latest information as you prepare for your upcoming cruise. That way, if any of the information I give you today should change before you set sail in August, you'll still have everything you need to be prepared.
You will have to provide Covid test results done no more than two days prior to embarkation day - the day you board the ship. Although there isn't a location at
Walt Disney World that provides testing, there are some options for you. My suggestion is to do one of the proctored self-tests right there in your room at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. You can order the tests before you leave home and bring them with you on vacation. The tests take about 20 minutes to do, and you'll have the results sent to you within minutes, ready to upload to Safe Passage.
There are also a ton of options locally that will take just a quick rideshare trip to get to. From urgent care centers to pharmacies, you'll be able to take a short ride to a testing facility. AdventHealth has a CentraCare location minutes from
Disney Springs, and they do testing 24 hours a day. You can make an appointment online.
I hope you now feel shipshape and ready to sail! Sending positive vibes for a negative test.
