Hi Aubrey,
Disney's Wilderness Lodge is such a beautiful resort and the pool is magical. One of the best things about this resort is the food. There are several great restaurants to visit while you are staying here with everything from standard quick-service food to decadent coursed meals complete with a Snow White sighting.
Two restaurants at Disney's Wilderness Lodge offer
Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering that are perfect for pickup while you are hanging out by the pool.
Roaring Fork features several great options like cheeseburgers and garlic-roasted chicken. It is within walking distance of the pool and will utilize quick-service meals from your Disney dining plan.
Geyser Point also has a walk-up window that is within walking distance of the pool where you can pick up delicious bites like salmon, crab cakes, and burgers. This location will use a table-service meal from your Disney Dining Plan even if you use mobile ordering and grab it from the pickup window.
If you are looking for a quick bite by the pool, I would opt for using a quick-service meal at Roaring Fork. There are much better uses for a table-service meal at Disney's Wilderness Lodge like
Story Book Dining at Artist Point. This experience will use 2 table-service meals, but it is a delicious three-course dining experience where you meet Snow White and the elusive Evil Queen.
While you are staying at the Wilderness Lodge, don't forget to head outside in the evening to watch the
Electrical Water Pageant. It is a classic Disney World experience that can only be seen at a select few resorts.
Happy Planning,
Jenna
