Three Generations Aboard Ship; fireworks; night

    We are going on Disney Western Caribbean cruise in November thanksgiving time. I am not sure how the weather will be on the ship when we are sailing and on the ports. should i be packing summer clothes or cold weather?

    Ahoy Madhu!
    Welcome to the Moms Panel and congratulations on your upcoming sailing on Disney Cruise Line!  I think you are smart to be thinking ahead about what to pack because it is definitely a good idea to get your family's clothes organized a few weeks before you depart. During the day, the temperatures will most likely be in the 80s so plan on bringing casual summertime clothes.  When the ship is sailing, it can be cooler due to the winds so you may want to bring some light layers you can peel off throughout the day.  I also like to bring along cardigans or light jackets for the evenings onboard because it can be cool in the theaters, dining rooms and lounges. There will be plenty of splashtacular fun to be had so be sure to pack your crew's bathing suits and cover-ups!  If the outside temperature drops below 75 degrees, the pools will be heated, and the whirlpools are always warm and toasty!
    I hope my answer gives you a better idea of what to expect weather wise, Madhu!  I always check weather.com a few day prior to my family's departure to make sure I've packed the right clothes for the port of call!
