    We will be going to Disney 2 weeks before my sons eighth birthday. Can we still get a birthday pin and celebrate his birthday at Chef Mickey's?

    Of course you can do that! When we take our girls to Walt Disney World in October, it is an early celebration of their November birthdays, since it is in part a birthday present for them. We always get them birthday buttons, which they wear the entire vacation.

    This is not about "getting stuff", but like for you it is just about making it a great celebration. I think you will find that he revels in all the Cast Members wishing him a happy birthday, and just being the center of attention.
