Going to Disney week before Xmas. 4 adults + 4-year old and infant. Want 2-bedroom villa close to MK for easier back and forth with little ones. Contemporary sold out so booked Beach Club Villas as backup but concerned about time/ease of travel to/from.

    Hi Judy,

You will have a wonderful time at the Walt Disney World Resorts at the Holidays. The magic of the season really comes alive.

I love the Beach Club Villas. There is a great pool for swimming and you can easily take the boat or walk to both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios. If you have park hopper option on your ticket, you could use the monorail by walking through Epcot and hoping on the monorail to Ticket and Transportation and then transfer for the monorail to Magic Kingdom. My husband and I would do this on our return from Magic Kingdom when our girls were little and we did not want to take the sleeping little ones out of their strollers to ride the bus.

Have you looked at Wilderness Lodge? This would be a boat ride to and from the Magic Kingdom which is a fun ride. Also, are you on the waitlist for a room at the Contemporary? This might help with making your original reservation come true.

    Have a magical vacation!
