We are going to Disney the week of February 10th and have a 10 year old daughter with Type 1 Diabetes. We need to see if there are any special arrangements that can be made for her. How to keep her insulin cold. The heat. Any suggestions.

Any of the Disney resort hotels either have small refrigerators in the room or can provide one for a very minimal charge. In the parks, you could bring her insulin in a small cooler.

We can't give you medical advice, but there is a fantastic article about dealing with diabetes at Disney World that I can point you to. Go to www.allearsnet.com at search on diabetes. You will find real-world tips from people with your situation.

    Have a great trip.
