Hiya John!
Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for visiting us with your question. Early Fall is such a great time of year to visit Walt Disney World. Oftentimes this season brings with it lower crowds and lower prices... a magical combination, indeed!
With the amazing water park perk being offered this year to all Disney Resort guests, there's been all kinds of excitement about visiting Disney's Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. All guests arriving in 2025 will receive
FREE admission to a water park on check-in day. What a splashtastic deal! The Disney Parks Blog also recently announced that for the first time in forever... both
water parks will be open this summer through September 7. This is such an exciting development, and shows how high the demand has become for these unique and specially-themed water parks.
Because the
Disney Parks operating hours are not posted that far in advance, we can't say for sure what locations will be open this September - October. However, historically Disney World keeps at least one water park open for guests (unless there is inclement weather, or another unforeseen circumstance causing a closure). Between that precedent, and all of the interest and excitement over this special water park perk being offered this year, I feel fairly confident one of the Disney Water Parks will be open during those September to October dates you describe. I have not read of any proposed closures on official Disney channels.
Disney's website says "Disney Resorts Collection hotel Guests arriving in 2025 can enjoy water park admission on check-in day". And remember... it never hurts to wish upon a star, John!
