At the Disney water parks can you wear water shoes of any sort while in the water? Also do they have lockers and do they have any fees?

You can wear water shoes in the park and in the water at both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. The only thing you should be aware of is that the shoes (and your swimsuit) should have no exposed metal parts such as protruding zippers or rivets. Metal is not allowed on the slides to protect their surface.

Wearing water shoes at the water parks is a very smart idea. The pavement around the parks can get quite toasty on a hot day. If you forget your water shoes and decide you want some while you're there, they do sell a few styles at the parks.

There are lockers at the water parks. My family only uses the lockers at the theme parks occasionally, but we use the water park lockers every time we visit. I feel comfortable leaving easily-replaceable items (flip-flops, sunscreen, magazines, towels) on a lounge chair in the park, but the lockers are a great place to keep anything valuable such as your camera, wallet, or watch. Prices can change, but currently the large-size locker costs $5 per day, plus a refundable $2 key deposit.
