Which Disney water park would be best for 7 year old for one day in Florida

Hey there, Jennifer! Welcome to planDisney. Are you ready for a splashing good time at Walt Disney World Resort? Your visit is just around the corner, and I am so excited you are making time to visit the water parks! What a wonderful way to relax, unwind, and get away from the July heat and humidity in Florida!

Jennifer, at this time, only Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is open. Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park is closed for refurbishment. Do not let this closing make you decide not to do a water park day though! Typhoon Lagoon is home to North America's LARGEST wave pool, the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool, and Ketchakiddee Creek is the perfect spot for kids four feet and under. If your 7-year-old is on the wild side (like mine was at your child's age!) Miss Adventure Falls is a perfect attraction! Let's also talk about snacks and refreshments at Typhoon Lagoon. The Sand Pail from Happy Landings Ice Cream is the perfect afternoon treat, who doesn't want ice cream served in a sand pail?! If you prefer DOLE Whip, you can find them over at Snack Shack.

Lastly, let's talk about enhancements for your adventure on the high seas. At Typhoon Lagoon, you can rent umbrellas for the day, or opt for a cabana at Beachcomber Shacks. To rent an umbrella, it is first-come, first-serve over at Singapore Sal's, and comes with the umbrella, two beach chairs, two beach lounge chairs, a drink table, and towels. If you decide to upgrade to a cabana, there are several options to choose from, and all come with towels, cold water, a locker, and refillable mugs. The cabanas are also on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Jennifer, I hope all of this information helps you today! Have a magical visit to Walt Disney World. Life is the bubbles!
