Our Disney vacation starts on June 13. I just found out that Star Wars Weekend will be taking place during this time. Do you recommend that we take part in the celebration, or take advantage of possible shorter lines in the other parks that weekend?

Hi Nicole.  If anyone in your family is a big Star Wars fan, then I highly recommend you take the trip over to DHS and be a part of these incredible shows.  But if Star Wars is not your thing, then yes, take advantage of another park that might possibly be not so crowded.  DHS will know doubt be crowded on these days as even many Florida residents will come to this event.
If you want to learn more about the weekend events, you might want to go to www.disneyworld.com and in the search box enter Star Wars Weekends.  It gives you a great deal of information, including what stars are scheduled to be in the parks.
Thanks for the great question and I hope you have a truly magical WDW vacation in just a few days!
