    Hi, our Disney vacation will start on the 21st of December, but we are attending the Mickey's Christmas Party on the 20th. Can we use the Memory Maker that we purchased for our vacation even if our package has not properly started? Thanks

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Carlos!

    You are going to love Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party!  The moment Cinderella Castle is transformed into a sparkling ice palace during A Frozen Holiday Wish will take your breath away!  Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is a don't-miss, and I am super excited to see the all-new fireworks show, Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks.  Also new for this year's parties are holiday enhancements on some of your favorite attractions.  You are definitely going to want to capture photo memories of all the fun!

    Carlos, you should be able to view your Memory Maker entitlement when logged in to your My Disney Experience account on your desktop.  Under "My Plans" you should see a section titled "Tickets & Memory Maker".  Your Memory Maker is activated when you download your first photo.  You will then have 30 days in which to capture additional photos.

    Alternately, you may wait until you return home and download your photos all at once.  Your Disney PhotoPass photos will remain in your account for 45 days after the date they were captured, and your Memory Maker entitlement will allow you to download all unexpired photos in your account.

    Either way, the answer is YES!, you will be able to use your Memory Maker entitlement to download all your photos captured at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and during the duration of your vacation package.  To clarify, Memory Maker is not required to have photos taken; the Memory Maker purchase allows you to download of all your Disney PhotoPass photos for one cost.
