Welcome to planDisney, Kathy! I am happy to help you get started with planning a magical vacation.
An option to help get you started would be to call the
Disneyland Vacations Package telephone line. There a friendly cast member can discuss options on planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort and help you determine which hotel would be right for you. They can also assist with ticket options as well as adding on any extras, like
Lightning Lane access.
Alternatively, you can also try searching for "Authorized Disney Vacation Planners” online. Authorized Disney Vacation Planners are travel agents who specialize in booking vacations to the Disneyland Resort and often have detailed knowledge of the parks to help you plan out all aspects of your vacation. This knowledge can vary from detailed itineraries to helping to book dining reservations. In addition, many of these travel agents offer their services at no additional cost to you. Many of these agents also have reviews available online to assist with finding the right one for you.
There are a couple things you may want to have in mind prior to either calling the Vacations Package line or speaking with an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. First, you should determine how many days you would like to visit. My personal recommendation would be to plan 3 days in the parks themselves. Disneyland and Disney California Adventure both have so much to see and do, you want to be sure you have plenty of time to explore without feeling rushed. Next, you should determine when to visit. The
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort are one of the most magical times, as both parks are fully decked out in Christmas cheer. However, spring is also a great time with excellent weather and the
Disney California Food & Wine Festival providing plenty of delicious eats.
Kathy, I hope this information helps you get excited about visiting the Disneyland Resort. If you have additional questions or would like specific recommendations for your visit, please reach out to us at planDisney again. We would be happy to help!
Enjoy your visit,
David
