Heigh-Ho Anna,
Your Walt Disney World vacation is just around the river bend and we here at planDisney are happy to help with your Walt Disney World questions and planning.
While MagicBands are very convenient, especially when visiting the Walt Disney World Resort for multiple days, they are not necessary. After purchasing your tickets, either save the email with your confirmation number by printing it out or snapping a photo of it or
link your tickets to your My Disney Experience profile. You will make
Disney Park Pass reservations at this time, as well. Before entering your first Walt Disney World Theme Park make your way to the Guest Relations/Ticket Counter. Here a Cast Member will need your confirmation number or sign in to your My Disney Experience profile and provide you with a hard-ticket, also known as a Key to the World card. This card will be used for the entirety of your trip.
If you have not already done so, I highly recommend making a
My Disney Experience profile, this is your vacation hub. In your case, you can add all Guests who will be traveling with you to your
Family & Friend list. Next, you will link your tickets and follow all prompts to assign them to the appropriate Guests. It’s super easy and very handy.
Download the mobile app and become comfortable navigating everything it can do for you while you are planning and before your arrival. It allows you to cancel and modify Disney Park Pass reservations, check on attraction wait times, make a table-service dining reservation, play games while waiting, select quick-service mobile food orders and that’s just the beginning. Have fun discovering its Magic.
We look forward to your Return to the World of Magic and if we here at planDisney can be of any further assistance feel free to ask.
