We are Disney Vacation Club owners from New Jersey. We just came back and are already booking our next visit home. We booked our home resort for 3/29-4/6. With Easter falling late in 2019, will this be a bad time to go vs the end of February?

Hey there, Jersey girl! Welcome "home" to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

My family does the same thing - we no sooner set foot back in the Garden State when we are already planning a trip back to the Sunshine State. Being Disney Vacation Club members almost guarantees that you are always thinking about a return trip to Walt Disney World

While I don't think there is ever a bad time to go to Walt Disney World, I totally understand hoping to avoid some of the Easter and spring break crowds. I would say with the dates you've chosen, you have definitely missed the Easter crowd. With an April 21st Easter Sunday, most schools are off either the week before or the week after, and with the dates you currently have planned, you'll miss the big Easter crowds.

I can't be so certain about spring break crowds. Colleges typically don't follow the Easter schedule for spring break, and I know for a fact that Rutgers took their break about three weeks before Easter this spring. There are also some elementary schools across the country who go by that early spring break schedule.

Bottom line, I think you'll miss the huge crowds typical of the Easter week break. Just be prepared if you're used to going when there are the lowest crowds. The end of February time frame might be a bit of a safer bet if you are hoping to avoid even more of the spring break crowds.

    Have a wonderful visit "home!"
