We are Disney Vacation Club Members and my daughter is competing in the D2 Summit Cheer competition in May 2019 and I wanted to know if there will be Disney bus transportation from DVC resorts to and from the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex?

    Hi, Erica!

How exciting that your daughter will be at the D2 Summit Cheer competition at Walt Disney World. The ESPN Wide World of Sports facility is really amazing, and I hope she has an incredible time. My cousin's team won last year, and he's still reveling!

As for bus transportation, they usually announce a few months in advance where the transportation will be, and from what I can confirm, the resorts with shuttles will be Disney's Coronado Springs Resort and the value resorts, including any of Disney's All Star resorts and Disney's Pop Century Resort. They will run the buses on competition days.

There are currently no plans for any of the Disney Vacation Club resorts to have a special shuttle to the venue. You can, however, use Disney transportation to get you to a resort that offers the ESPN shuttles. There are also taxis available, or you can use the Uber or Lyft app to get transportation.

Good luck and have fun, Erica!
