Aloha Caroline!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Before we moved to Florida, the week between Christmas and New Year’s Eve was our traditional family vacation to Walt Disney World, so I empathize with your concerns about booking a Resort!
Our home Resorts are
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village and
Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, so I don’t own at
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa either. Since we are in the seven-month booking window, I just went online to see what I could find at
Aulani during your desired time frame. Guess what? You are in luck! Save New Year’s Day, the entire month of January is available, and the week in between Christmas and New Year’s also has options! So head over to the
booking page at
Disney Vacation Club and secure your holiday in paradise!
Once you arrive in Hawaii, make sure to take advantage of the
fantastic tropical adventures that the Resort offers! You can do everything from
swimming with dolphins to a
Bamboo Forest Hike through the lush Manoa Valley. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, finish your evening beachside at ‘AMA’AMA, where local, fresh ingredients will send you to culinary bliss! If you try the
lemongrass crème Catalana, will you come back and let me know how delicious it was? I’ve been dying to try it.
If you end up arriving before Christmas Eve, try to catch the carolers at the Resort. I can’t think of anything better than Christmas carols in paradise while greeting your favorite Disney Pals dressed in their holiday finery!
Mele Kalikimaka (Merry Christmas)!
