I have Disney vacation club, do I get a discount on horseback riding

    Hey Howdy Hey, Lauren!

Welcome Home and welcome to planDisney! Yeehaw! I am so excited to help a fellow New Englander and a fellow Disney Vacation Club neighbor.  It sounds like you are planning to enjoy some Enchanting Extras on your upcoming Disney vacation. Our family loves to do this too, as it's a great way to enjoy Disney in an entirely new way.  A trail ride at Tri-Circle D Ranch is one of my favorite Enchanting Extras!

Lauren, eligible Disney Vacation Club Members - those eligible for Member Extras - have access to many discounts on select tickets, tours, events, and experiences.  It is one of my favorite ways to maximize the magic of our vacation and put more pixie dust back in our wallets.

I just double-checked the current list of Disney benefits available to eligible Members.  It looks like, currently, eligible Disney Vacation Club Members can receive a 10% discount (subject to change) on select activities at Tri-Circle D Ranch.  These include a 45-minute guided trail ride through Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, as well as the horse-drawn Carriage Rides at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Disney's Port Orleans Resort (not including holiday and special themed carriage ride events).  These activities are subject to availability and change, and discounts may be limited to select dates or times of day.

To make reservations for this activity, you can call Member Services beginning 60 days out from the date you would like to enjoy the activity (or 60 days from your Disney Resort Hotel check-in date up to 10 days.)  Two things to note are that payment is due in full at the time of booking and rider age, height, and weight restrictions apply.

Now, if you love Fort Wilderness and are looking for a hootin' and hollerin' good time, I highly recommend the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue dinner theater show after an afternoon trail ride.  The all-you-care-to-eat family-style barbecue is delicious, but the family fun and interactive show is the real treat. It's a great way to kick up your heels and enjoy some grub after a fun day at Fort Wilderness.

If you have any further Disney vacation planning questions, gallop back here to see me and I'll be so happy to help you.

    Happy Trails,
    Keri
