Our 1st Disney vaca is Sept 21st-27th. I booked a pkg. I selected 1st flight out 6am and the last flight out 6pm. I got an e-mail. Our flight times are changed. Noon and 10am. This has changed the amount of time we will be there. Is this normal? I'm upset!

    Hi Joyce,

This is the doings of your airline, not Disney. The airlines VERY frequently change the times of their scheduled flights.

I can completely sympathize with your situation. The exact same thing has happened to me several times on trips from my home in NY going to Walt Disney World. And I've had a huge disaster with a planned flight for an Adventures by Disney trip this summer. With no notice, the airline added a layover and about five extra hours to my travel time. It's completely frustrating, I know.

The best thing to do is call both Disney and your airline and explain your situation. Depending on where you live, there may be other flights that are better suited to your schedule to which you can be rebooked.

    Good luck!
