Hello, Sarah! There are so many benefits to utilizing Disney's Memory Maker package, and I am so thrilled that you are considering it for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacations. While Memory Maker provides a bit of convenience and can help to save money, it can also be a little difficult to figure out if you are unfamiliar with the package and how it works with Disney's PhotoPass Service.
Once you have downloaded your first image as part of your Memory Maker entitlement, you will have thirty days to capture more photos before your purchase expires. If your vacations are within a month or so of each other, you may be able to get by with just one Memory Maker purchase, which can help you to save even more money for turkey legs and Dole Whips on your vacations.
You didn't specify when each of your Walt Disney World vacations are this year, but chances are, they will be a bit more spread out. You could certainly purchase another Memory Maker to use for your shorter trip, but if you plan to download only a handful of individual PhotoPass photos, you may not necessarily need Memory Maker to save money.
Please keep in mind that all photos are subject to the
Disney PhotoPass Expiration Policy and currently expire 45 days from the date that they are taken, so if you have favorite images that you would like to download, don't delay.
If you have any additional questions about Memory Maker, please do not hesitate to stop back by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope you make lots of magical memories at Walt Disney World, Sarah!
