For our 1st disney trip with a 4yr old boy, at each park what is one attraction do you recommend that we don't miss? I might be in WDW overload with information and want to make sure we hit his favorite movie attractions for sure. Any favorites?

    Hi Janice,

How exciting! I turned to the experts for this great question, my three boys. Each of them has a slightly different approach to thrill rides, but there was a great consensus for their favorites.

Magic Kingdom: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad was the winner here. It is a fast paced roller coaster style ride that does have a height requirement but it has no upside down loops or turns and if your son is a little daring I think he will love it. Even my oldest, who is afraid of most thrill attractions rides this one over and over. For a slower pace, the next choice was Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. Guests help battle Zurg and rack up points to become a Space Ranger. There is tons of color and spinning objects and of course a space gun.

Epcot: Test Track. While Soarin is a great too, the clear winner was Test Track. Guests ride in an car through safety tests, but the real fun is when the car hits the open road for a quick spin.

Animal Kingdom: Kilimanjaro Safari. This jeep driven tour of the animals is never the same experience twice. The boys love how close up they can see the animals. For a more fast paced thrill, try Expedition Everest. This roller coaster brings you face to face with the Yeti and may not be for the easily frightened (it does go backwards in the dark) but it my youngest son's favorite attraction at Disney World.

Hollywood Studios: Toy Story Midway Mania. Guests are brought into the world of Andy's room to play a new shooting gallery game. This 3D attraction is full of fun effects.

Honorable mention does go out to some more of our other favorites: Pirates of the Caribbean, Splash Mountain, Star Tours and Dinosaur.

    Have a great time!
