We have a Disney trip planned in September. We are staying at the Port Orleans Riverside with the free dining. I read somewhere that the gratuity will be charged to your credit card on file. If you wish, can you leave the tip in cash rather than charged?

Hi Pam!  Congratulations on booking a Free Dining reservation AND for reserving a room at Port Orleans--Riverside!  It such a beautiful resort, complete with gorgeous southern charm, especially in the Magnolia Bend section...I just love the mansions!
When checking in to the resort, you do have the option of putting a credit card on file for charges and for your gratuities during your dining experiences.  When you are dining, they will bring you the check and you can choose how much percentage of gratuity you would like and you can tell the server that you would like to put the gratuity on another credit card, on your Key to the World card or leave it in cash.  The choice is definitely yours!
Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!

Hi there! The Disney Parks have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
