    We had a Disney trip planned for last March, but unfortunately the park closed due to Covid about four days before our trip. Are the free wristbands that were assigned and sent to us still valid?

    I am a super light packer, but the one thing that I will never head to Walt Disney World without are my handy-dandy MagicBands. These magical bracelets are the ultimate Mousekatool that allows me to enter my room at the Disney Resorts Collection, access the theme parks, pay for my purchases, and most importantly, save all of my magical memories with the wonderful Memory Maker. 

    Jeana, since you already had your MagicBands delivered to you, I am happy to tell you that they are assigned to you forever, and will work for any reservations and tickets linked to you in your My Disney Experience Account. So feel free to use your existing MagicBands for any future trips! The battery will degrade over time, but they generally last around 3 years. 

    If you make a new reservation; however, you should know that MagicBands are no longer complimentary; however, you can purchase them for a special discounted rate.
