Going on our 1st Disney trip later this year! We want to do one character breakfast. My kids will be 6 and 7, what do you recommend?

    Hi Carolyn!

How exciting to be planning your first Walt Disney World vacation! Character dining is such a great way to meet several Disney Characters while enjoying a delicious meal.  My four children would quickly tell you that their absolute favorite Character Dining breakfast is Chef Mickey's, which is located at Disney's Contemporary Resort. This Character Dining location traditionally features Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy and Pluto. Character appearances are subject to change. At Chef Mickey's, you will enjoy an all-you-care-to-eat breakfast buffet and fun character interaction.

Chef Mickey's is one of the most popular Character Dining locations, so I would recommend booking an Advanced Dining Reservation 180 days in advance by calling Disney Dining at (407)WDW-DINE or (407)939-3463, via My Disney Experience or by going online.

I hope this helps! Please don't hesitate to visit us again with any additional questions that you may have as your vacation draws closer. We would love to assist you further in the planning of a magical first trip, Carolyn!

    Bon Appétit,
