Hey there, Lindsay!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It's always a treat when I can assist a fellow Georgian!
Your Walt Disney World vacation will be here before you know it. How exciting!
'Ohana is my family's favorite Table-Service restaurant and a "must do" when visiting Walt Disney World Resort. Depending on where your table is located, you may be able to see the fireworks from the restaurant. I have previously been seated with a great view of
Magic Kingdom Park and also with an obstructed view. When you check in for your dining reservation, let the hostess know you would like to request a table facing Magic Kingdom Park in order to view the fireworks. Although you may encounter a longer delay before being seated, I have always been able to get a table facing Magic Kingdom Park when I have asked. The music accompanying the fireworks spectacular will also be piped into the restaurant.
At this time, they have not released the entertainment schedule for
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. In 2018, the Halloween fireworks spectacular was scheduled for 10:15 p.m. Based on previous years, I believe the timing should work out well to see the fireworks during your dinner at 'Ohana. I have dined at this popular restaurant more times than I can count and have never been seated right at our reservation time and find our overall dining experience usually takes approximately 60 - 90 minutes. During dinner, be sure to pace yourself. You will definitely want to save room for the famous ‘Ohana Bread Pudding à la mode topped with caramel sauce and bananas. It's so delicious!
I hope this information is helpful, Lindsay. Let us know if you have any new questions. We would love to assist you further in planning a magical trip!
