Hi there, David!
Welcome to planDisney. I'm so glad you stopped by with a question for us today. Let's get down to business!
I know planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation can seem daunting at first, but everything you need is right at your fingertips online. If you already have travel dates in mind you can use the
"Build Your Vacation" search bar to review available resort accommodations, select your desired number of tickets, and book your Vacation Package with a minimal deposit. Beginning January 9th, the planning process gets even simpler as
dining plans return and
theme park reservations will no longer be required for date-based tickets.
I usually encourage first-time guests to plan 1-park per day and schedule a rest day mid-way through the trip to enjoy their Disney Resorts Collection hotel's amazing amenities. If your travel party includes little ones
Disney's Art of Animation Resort is always my top recommendation for its adorable character theming, amazing pool, and Disney Skyliner access to two parks. If your travel party is mainly adults you're sure to be impressed by the iconic charm of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or the coastal elegance of
Disney's Yacht Club Resort which is just steps away from EPCOT International Gateway and all the fun on
Disney's BoardWalk.
Speaking of EPCOT, there is so much to look forward to in 2024.
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts kicks off the festival season in just a few weeks while
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will delight guests' tastebuds over the summer and fall months. I try not to miss either of them, and you certainly won't want to miss a spin on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind while you're there.
David, if you have specific questions on park itineraries, dining options, resorts, or anything else please don't hesitate to come back and ask us. We don't have booking capabilities at planDisney, but we're always glad to share our best recommendations to help make your trip as magical as possible. You are also welcome to
reach out to a Cast Member by phone with additional questions and assistance in booking your vacation. If you feel more comfortable partnering with a travel agent you'll find a near-endless list of options by searching for
"Authorized Disney Vacation Planners" as my pal Ashley mentions. They will have completed training and certifications to make them Disney-approved EarMarked travel agency partners.
I hope this was helpful! Stop back any time with more planning questions.
Wishing you a magical and memorable year,
Amy
