    Does the Disney transportation system run in both directions? Can we easily get from our hotel at Coronado Springs to Animal Kingdom? If we ride the monorail from Epcot to Polynesian Resort & Grand Floridian Resort, do we have to enter Magic Kingdom?

    Hi Stephanie!

    Transportation between Disney Parks and Resorts runs in a continual loop all day - starting an hour or so before park opening and continuing until all parks are closed. You should have no trouble easily getting from Coronado Springs to any of the parks and back again.

    When riding the monorail at Walt Disney World, you do not actually enter the Magic Kingdom Park. The monorail tracks pass just outside of the gates. There is a monorail station at the park so that you can disembark and visit the park if you wish. You can also choose to exit the monorail at this location and then take a bus or boat to other Disney Resorts.

    To reach the Polynesian resort from Epcot, you'll actually want to take a monorail from the park to the Ticket and Transportation Center. Once at the Ticket and Transportation center, you'll need to transfer from the Epcot line to the Resort monorail line.
