Hi, Lisa! Welcome to planDisney.
One of the most enchanting things about Walt Disney World is that the magic starts the moment you step aboard its complimentary transportation. You'll be pleased to know that you're welcome to use these services even if you're not staying at a Disney Resort hotel. Here are the different ways you can travel around The Most Magical Place on Earth:
Disney Skyliner – Soar above the treetops in this gondola system that whisks you between EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and select resorts. With stunning views and a smooth ride, it’s a high-flying adventure before you even step into the parks! It makes my kids feel like Peter Pan and Wendy flying off to Neverland.
Walt Disney World Bus Service – Hop aboard and let Mickey’s motor coaches take you anywhere across the resort. Whether you’re heading to the parks, Disney Springs, or to a specific Disney Resort hotel, these air-conditioned buses keep you immersed in the magic.
Walt Disney World Water Transportation – Set sail on the Seven Seas Lagoon or cruise along scenic waterways connecting EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom Park, and select resorts. Whether it’s a ferryboat ride with Cinderella Castle on the horizon or a peaceful journey on a Friendship Boat, Disney’s water travel is as relaxing as it is magical. This is my favorite way to travel!
The Walt Disney World Monorail – Glide effortlessly to Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT aboard the iconic highway in the sky! The monorail isn’t just a ride—it’s an experience, offering breathtaking views and a nostalgic nod to Walt’s vision for the future of travel.
I hope that's helpful, Lisa. If you have any more questions about your upcoming trip, you've got a friend in me.
Mike
