Thanks for setting your sights on planDisney as you make your Disney Cruise Line vacation plans! If my spyglass doesn't deceive me, it looks as if you will be sailing on a spectacular transatlantic cruise aboard the Disney Dream. That sounds like a perfectly dreamy way to sail across the ocean for glorious days at sea and visit wonderful ports, including Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point!

But I'm getting ahead of myself! Let's batten down the hatches of your pre-cruise plans, first. For easy airport access, Disney Cruise Line recommends the Hilton London Gatwick Airport and the Sofitel London Heathrow Airport. Both of these hotels are directly linked to the airport and can be accessed by covered walkways. For your embarkation day, you can purchase Ground Transportation through Disney Cruise Line from either of these hotels to the port in Southampton. Currently, one-way ground transfers from the hotel to the port are around $70 (USD) per person. This price is subject to change.

To book your hotel stay and ground transfers or discuss other options, simply call one of the helpful Disney Cruise Line Cast Members at 0800 171-2317 (UK) and they will be happy to assist you. I recommend making your reservations well in advance since transportation availability may be limited.

Now, let's talk about Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point! I am looking forward to learning more about the Bahamian culture at the Goombay Cultural Center which anchors this beautiful oasis. With so many Bahamian artists, historians and cultural ambassadors helping to bring Lookout Cay to life, a day there will not only be about gorgeous aquamarine water but also an opportunity to enjoy art and learn a few things along the way. And if that weren't enough, there are plenty of Port Adventures to enjoy. It sounds like a perfect day to me!
