    We have been to Disney many times before but never in December. We are coming the first week in December this year. Is there anything besides the Candlelight Processional, Osbourne Lights, and Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party that we dont want to miss?

    Hi Ashley!
    Visiting Walt Disney World during the holiday months is a wonderful experience.  With all the holiday decoration and the special programs that happen, it promises to be a memorable time for you all.  The hallmark events which anchor the holiday season are of course Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom, The Osbourne Family Spectacle of LIghts at Hollywood Studios, Candlelight Processional at Epcot and Mickey's Jingle Jungle Parade.  All the parades and decorations are changed to reflect the warmth and cheer of the holiday season.
    One thing I do recommend you do is visit the deluxe resorts which house gingerbread displays!  These displays are very large and intricate and it is amazing to see the detail that goes into these!  We were able to see some of them last year, and I was amazed at how beautiful they are.  There are also hidden Mickeys to find on these displays!  I've linked a Disney Parks Blog entry below detailing the Gingerbread house at Boardwalk Inn last year, as well as a Blog entry about the Grand Floridian Gingerbread House (AND RECIPE!!!)
