We have been to disney before, but this time we are going with a 2 year old. We are staying at pop with the dining plan. When we make ADRs, shouldo we make our ts ADRS for lunch or dinner? We want to do all buffets/family style and character meals.

    Hi Sarah,

How exciting to be visiting the Walt Disney World with your 2-year-old! There's nothing better than seeing the magic of Disney through your child's eyes. As a mom of four children myself, I would recommend that you book your Table-Service meals based on your little one's schedule. If he/she tends to take a midday nap, I would suggest an early dinner Advanced Dining Reservation.  When my children were toddlers, we usually booked our Advanced Dining Reservations for either breakfast on a non-park day or an early dinner since those times worked best for their sleeping routines. However, as they have gotten older, we really enjoy experiencing a Table-Service meal at lunch.  When it comes to all-you-care-to-enjoy dining locations or Character Dining experiences, I have never found the variety of food selections at either lunch or dinner to be a deciding factor as I have found them to be quite comparable.

Based on my own personal experience and the age of your little one, I would book your Advanced Dining Reservations for Table-Service meals at dinner if you can get an earlier dining time.  I hope I have helped in making the best decision for your family.  If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Best wishes for a magical trip, Sarah!

    Bon Appétit,
    Jodie
