Can we have the Disney tickets for the same people on my app and have them on their own app in case we go to parks at different times and days?

    Hello there Jennie!

Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for visiting with your question today. How terrific that you're planning a summer vacation for your crew! I will warn you. If you get excited thinking about all the magical details, and love the challenge of arranging a practically perfect plan for your Disney vacation (like I do)... it can be addicting!

Yes, you can have your party's Disney tickets appear on both your app, and their own app. I've been in this situation you describe as my kids have gotten older. I used to keep track of all the tickets and plans for everyone using the My Disney Experience app. But my teenagers eventually got to the point where they wanted access to their own theme park tickets.

Here are the steps to take, so others can access their ticket independently:

    1. Verify each guest has been set up in your Family and Friends list.
    2. Confirm that the theme park tickets are linked to your My Disney Experience account. Then assign each theme park admission ticket to each guest in your party.
    3. Once everything is correctly linked (tickets + assigned guests), you can go to My Disney Experience mobile app and generate their Disney MagicMobile Service pass. To find this, from the app home screen go to the "≡" menu icon in the lower right, then scroll down to "Account -  Set up MagicMobile Entry". It should allow you to share with your entire party, and they can add to their digital wallets.
My fellow panelist Jennifer has some excellent instructions on how to share plans in the app, so others can see them (including Disney tickets) that may also work well for you.

It's worth noting that if you'll be using MagicBands, these can be used for park admission once you've followed the steps above, and the MagicBand is also linked to the guest. I love using my MagicBand! It's another fun and convenient option to have, and also works for tapping in to any Lightning Lane passes you may be using during your Disney Day.

Sending pixie-dust your way for a magical vacation! Please visit us again at planDisney if we can offer any additional tips, recommendations, or advice.

    Adventure is out there!
