Heigh-ho, Elliott!
It's off to
Walt Disney World you go! You must be so excited that your adventure to the Most Magical Place on Earth is just a few months away. I can't think of a better way to kick off 2025 than with a Disney holiday. Let's discuss ways to save on your trip in the new year!
The dining plan offer you're referring to, exclusively for
Disney+ subscribers, is no longer available for bookings in 2024 and has not been extended into 2025. I recommend contacting your local travel planner or browsing the Walt Disney World website to see what discounts or packages you can secure for your dates. Best wishes for finding something that works for you!
If you decide not to include a
dining plan with your stay, here are a few tips for making the most of your meal budget.
*Consider using a grocery delivery service like Instacart or Amazon to stock up on essentials like soft drinks, snacks, and breakfast items. Buying these in the parks can add up!
*Bottled water is pricey, but cups of ice water are complimentary from most quick-service restaurants. If you bring your own water bottle, use refill stations throughout the parks. Use the search feature on the My Disney Experience mobile app to find locations.
*Interested in dining with your favorite Disney friends? Opt for character breakfasts instead of lunch or dinner since they're more budget-friendly. Book the latest breakfast time to fuel up with Mickey waffles and omelets, and you'll be set until dinner!
*Certain restaurants offer great value when you're paying out of pocket. Some favorites include Via Napoli and Spice Road Table in
EPCOT, 50's Prime Time Café at
Disney's Hollywood Studios, Liberty Tree Tavern and Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen at
Magic Kingdom Park, and Yak & Yeti™ Restaurant in
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
I hope this has been helpful, Elliott. Please reach out again if there is anything else we can do to make your January escape even more memorable. Thanks again for visiting us at
planDisney, and have a magical day!
