Hi Ashley!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We have been visiting Walt Disney World with a stroller for the past 10 years, so I know how important it is to have the right one for your kiddo and you! Currently, the strollers rented by Disney in the theme parks are better suited to older children who can hold themselves up. They are hard plastic and I would not recommend them for an infant. Over the summer they began testing a new stroller at Disney’s Animal Kingdom that might work better for a little one, but to my knowledge, those are not guaranteed or available at all the parks at this time.
I always preferred to bring my personal stroller with me to the parks. Since we usually fly, this allowed me to have my stroller for the airport as well. A lightweight stroller that folds easily is your best bet. Another good option is to rent from an outside company. There are three
Disney Featured Providers that offer local stroller rental, and this is what I recommend if you won't be bringing your own stroller from home. My preferred company is Magic Strollers, but you may also like Orlando Stroller Rentals or Kingdom Strollers. You can reserve online, and it will be delivered directly to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, or even off-site hotels! All three offer the Citi Mini line of strollers, in addition to a few other options that have a five-point harness and would be a better choice for a smaller baby. Also, all of these companies rent strollers that conform to
Disney’s stroller size policy, so you know you'll be ready to hit the parks in style and comfort without any size issues!
I hope this helps, Ashley. Please let me know if you have any other questions I can help you with.
Have a Disney Day!
