Hi Yamilee, and welcome to planDisney. October into November is an extra magical time to visit Disney World because you can sometimes catch both the Halloween and Christmas decorations in
Magic Kingdom! Now, let’s talk about what festivities might be happening during your stay at
Old Key West Resort.
Disney Resort hotels don’t usually have Halloween activities that are officially announced ahead of time, but in my experience, Cast Members often organize fun seasonal activities at the resorts.
On past Halloweens, Old Key West has run villain-themed games on the Sandcastle Pool Deck, a trick-or-treat trail at Turtle Krawl, and a party with music, games, make-your-own candy apples, and a costume parade. Offerings vary each year, so when you get to Old Key West, check the lobby for a schedule or ask at the front desk.
Also, keep an eye on
Disney Parks Blog in the coming months as the Halloween Foodie Guides are released. There are so many festive treats you can get without even going to
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Check out last year’s foodie guides for the
resort hotels and
Disney Springs to start getting excited!
And speaking of spooky season, it’ll be a great time to check out the brand new show,
Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After, debuting at
Hollywood Studios this month! Magic Mirror will be summoning our favorite Disney baddies on stage for all sorts of music and shenanigans.
I hope you have a BOO-tiful stay at Old Key West in October! And if you have any other questions, you’re always welcome at planDisney.
