We are going to be at Disney starting bright and early May 17th but we are staying at a different hotel overnight on the 16th. What do we do with our luggage prior to our Disney resort check in time of 11am Sunday, May 16th?

    Leah,

    Thanks for your question!

Without knowing more about the wheres and the whens of your visit, I would suggest that your most convenient plan would be to head over to your new resort early on your changeover date and drop your bags off with the bell services desk at that resort. They will hold on to your bags, even though your room is not ready, until your return. It frees you to leave all your bags, both the big suitcases and your smaller carry-on bags, at the resort so that you can hit the parks.

When you return to your resort at the end of the day, all you need to do is swing by and gather your bags before heading off to your room.

Remember that if you use the Online Check-In service before your arrival you speed up that day even more. You get all that paperwork out of the way, and they can just text you your room number when it becomes available that day. It is one of my favorite Disney Resort Hotel conveniences!

Write me back if you have any follow-up questions!
