    When does Disney start decorating for Christmas in 2020?

    Ho!  Ho!  Ho!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jodell!

    Christmas is my favorite time of the year.  I cannot get enough of that wonderful feeling as we celebrate all things family.  The food, the decorations, it is all so magical!  

    I am so excited for you to be kicking off the 2020 holiday season at Walt Disney World Resort!  Mickey Mouse and all of his pals begin transforming the parks to a winter wonderland right after the Headless Horseman's last ride during the final night of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.  By the time you arrive the second week of November, I would expect Mickey and Minnie to have much of their décor in place. 

    When you visit, don't miss all of the great décor at the Walt Disney World Resort hotels as well.  I love to take the monorail around to the Magic Kingdom area hotels, like Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, to see the lobbies decorated for the holidays!

    After the ball drops and welcomes in 2020, be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog for all of the new year's news including Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party dates and other holiday events at Walt Disney World Resort.  With special holiday spins on your favorite attractions, like the Jingle Cruise or the new holiday touches added to Living with the Land in Epcot, you never know what new gifts will be offered during your stay!
