Hiya, Mary! Thanks so much for allowing planDisney to help you plan your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation. You'll arrive soon, so get ready for some magic! My family prides itself on using
complimentary transportation during our visits, so let's look at some travel options from Disney Springs.
After meeting a pal and shopping at Disney Springs a few days ago, I needed to meet my husband at EPCOT. Since buses from Disney Springs only go to Disney Resort hotels, I had to be a bit creative! I used
Walt Disney World Bus Service to Disney's Beach Club Resort and walked to the International Gateway entrance to EPCOT. The best part is I hopped in line for Remy's Ratatouille Adventure minutes after scanning in!
You have several options to get to the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC). You can take a bus from Disney Springs to
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and then stroll the paved path to the TTC. You could also take a bus to
Disney's Contemporary Resort and ride the monorail to the TTC. Monorail travel is my absolute favorite! Finally, you can use a rideshare service of your choice. While this last option isn't free, it will probably offer the quickest travel time.
If
Magic Kingdom Park is your ultimate goal, my tip is to use
Minnie Van Service from Disney Springs. These polka-dot vehicles are the only rideshare that can typically drop guests near the park entrance. All others will use the TTC as their drop-off and pick-up point. Talk about riding in style!
My final tip is to explore transportation options in your My Disney Experience mobile app. Tap the location pin at the bottom of the screen and select "Transportation" from the dropdown menu above the map. Tap your destination and enter your location to see available route options and travel times.
Mary, I hope you make some magical memories on your upcoming trip. Sometimes, the journey can be as exciting as the destination! Please stop by
planDisney anytime,
Magic awaits,
Elaine
