Hey there, Adam! Thanks for visiting us with your question.
A huge part of planning a
Walt Disney World vacation for my family is making sure we get reservations for the
Disney dining experiences we all love. It can be tough when your 180 day window opens up towards the later part of the year, when things are still being worked out for the new year's
Disney Dining Plan.
You'll start to see now, and moving forward through January of 2019, that the
Disney Springs dining locations that will participate with the dining plan will be added to the list of participating restaurants. Since these are not Disney owned restaurants, it takes a bit longer for them to show up on the list. In many cases, you can look at the restaurants that accepted the dining plan this year, and you can expect to see them on the list for 2019. In the event that they decide not to participate, you can absolutely cancel your reservation and dine elsewhere.
The
dining cancellation policy for most restaurants requires you to cancel prior to 11:59 PM of the day prior to your dining reservation. There is a $10 fee for each person in your party if you don't cancel within this window. Please note, however, each reservation has it's own policy, and while this policy is effective for many of the restaurants, be sure to check when you book your dining reservations of your restaurant's specific policy.
I hope the restaurants you are hoping to enjoy participate with the dining plan!
Anna
