How do we get to Disney springs from the Grand Floridian and how long will it take? Can I activate military park tickets there the night before our first day at the park? Thank you.

Hello, Vlasta! Welcome to planDisney, we are so excited you are here. May is a great time to visit Walt Disney World Resort, and you will be a hop, skip, and a jump away from all the magic from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort! I hope you have made some dining reservations at some of the amazing restaurants you will have at your resort, including breakfast at Grand Floridian Cafe (the hash brown casserole and Grand Mimosa are divine!) and dinner at Narcoosee's!

Vlasta, since you are a monorail ride away to Disney's Magic Kingdom Park, it is much closer to take the monorail (or walk the path!) and visit Guest Relations there to activate your military tickets. Guest Relations is right outside the park entrance, on the right-hand side. Make sure to have your exchange certificates and Military I.D. on hand to activate. You have the option of going either before or the day of, however, I usually go the day before and activate, that way I can avoid the line. While you are there make sure to ask about the military discount for Memory Maker, which will give you all of the photos you take throughout your trip!

Have the most magical trip in May, Vlasta!
