Elisa,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
Buses run from the
Walt Disney World Swan Reserve to
Disney Springs starting about an hour before Disney Springs opens. The bus transportation site says 45 minutes prior, but I confirmed with Disney cast members just this morning that it is more like an hour. So, if Disney Springs opens at 9, you should be able to catch a bus starting around 8. Assuming that your event is hosted by one of the businesses there, and therefore within operating hours, you should be fine catching a bus. The ride should take about 30 minutes, at most, but to be safe you will want to be down to catch your bus as early in that time frame as you can. You would not want to miss your ride!
BONUS TIP #1I don't like leaving any of this to chance on my vacations. My advice is to speak to a hotel concierge a few days before your event and give them the details of your plans. They can reconfirm bus start times, time in transit, and ensure that you will have an adequate window to make your event. Better safe than sorry!
BONUS TIP #2Make sure you plan in some time after your event to walk around Disney Springs. The dining, shopping, and entertainment options are more than you could ever imagine. Even if you have to head off to your next activity on that day, a few minutes walking the area could inspire you with a future adventure!
