How to get from disney springs to animal kingdom

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Kendall!

I’m absolutely thrilled to welcome you to planDisney! It sounds like you’re in the middle of planning a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth…how exciting! There’s truly nothing quite like the anticipation that comes with a Walt Disney World vacation. From dreaming about your favorite attractions to mapping out dining plans and magical moments, it’s such a special time. I’m so glad you stopped by with your question!

Traveling from Disney Springs to Animal Kingdom does take a little extra planning, since complimentary Disney bus transportation from Disney Springs only goes to Disney Resort hotels, not directly to the theme parks.

If you’d like to use Disney Transportation, you’ll first take a bus from Disney Springs to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. Once you arrive at the resort, you’ll then board a second bus from the Lodge to Animal Kingdom. It’s absolutely doable, just be sure to allow yourself some extra travel time since you’ll be making that transfer.

If you’re hoping for a more direct option, you might consider booking a Minnie Van through the Lyft app. These adorable red-and-white polka-dotted vehicles offer a convenient, point-to-point ride anywhere on Walt Disney World property. Traditional rideshare services are also available and will take you straight from Disney Springs to the park entrance without the extra stop.

While you’re visiting Animal Kingdom, I hope you’ll make time to catch the new 4D show inside the Tree of Life, Zootopia: Better Zoogether! I’ve heard it’s a wildly fun experience with all the heart and humor you’d expect…definitely worth adding to your must-do list!

I’d also recommend opening your My Disney Experience app and joining the walk-up list for Nomad Lounge. It’s such a relaxing spot to take a break, grab a refreshing drink, and recharge. And if you’re a fan of sweet treats, the churros there are absolutely divine!

Kendall, I hope this information helps, and you have the very best trip! If any other questions come up, you're always welcome as can be here at planDisney!
