Hello! Is Disney Springs actually a part of Disney, and is there transportation there from the resorts? Also, would we be able to use our magic bands there to purchase things?

Hello there, Anastasia! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to reach back out and asking another wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

Disney Springs offers a variety of engaging entertainment opportunities, delicious dining locations, and unique boutiques that you could spend hours exploring! You will be happy to hear that Disney Transportation is available from your Disney Resort hotel right to Disney Springs. Guests at the majority of Disney Resort hotels may utilize Bus Transportation. Guests staying at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, and Disney's Old Key West Resort may also use Water Transportation and experience a leisurely boat ride on their way to Disney Springs! All of these options make traveling between your Disney Resort hotel and Disney Springs a breeze!

Guests are also welcome to use their MagicBands when purchasing food and merchandise at Disney Springs! I love this option as it reduces the need to carry multiple forms of payment during our visits to Disney Springs!

Hopefully, this information will assist you in planning for your rapidly approaching visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you!
