Going to Disney 3/09. Spending two days at each park is the park hopper option needed?

No. A park hopper is only necessary if want to visit more than one park in a single day. For example, my family often likes to go to the Magic Kingdom in the morning, go back to the hotel for a swim in the afternoon, and then have dinner at Epcot. For this, you would need a park hopper. But with any multi-day theme park ticket, you could visit the same park more than once during your trip.
