I am going to Disney somewhere between Xmas and the week of January, I'll have two kids a 2.5 year old and a 4 month old. When would be the best time to Go, and what park would be best for a toddler?

    Dear Cerissa,

Thank you so much for stopping by for a friendly hello to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

How exciting that you are planning your upcoming trip for December or January, part of which is the most magical time of year and of course at the most magical place on earth!

No matter when you choose to visit Walt Disney World Resort, your little ones are sure to have an absolutely unforgettable time. That being said, if you only have a couple of days and you are looking for quieter days to visit, I recommend weekdays and not around holiday periods. If you are really interested in seeing the holiday decorations, I recommend visiting during Christmas week! That can be quite a busy week, however.

For a toddler, I would recommend Magic Kingdom as a first Walt Disney World Resort park experience. There are so many classic attractions that your children will just love! I recommend arriving before park opening each day, as you will find that crowds will start much smaller in the morning and little ones can ride a couple of attractions or meet a couple of characters, all before there are longer lines.

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
