    We are going to Disney in Sept for my sons 3rd bday. We will be going to Chef Mickey's for breakfast. We are staying off of Disney property. Can we park at the Contemporary hotel eat, then walk or take the monorail to Magic Kingdom?

    Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another question! A birthday breakfast at Chef Mickey's will be a wonderful way to start the day for your son. You and your family are welcome to drive to the Contemporary Resort and park your vehicle. Be sure to tell the Cast Member at the gate that you have reservations at Chef Mickey's. They will then instruct you where to park and if there is a time limit. After breakfast, catch the Resort Monorail to Magic Kingdom park or enjoy a short walk to the park gate. My boys love riding the Monorail, but we've also walked to the Magic Kingdom before and they had just as much fun watching the Monorail pass overhead. I hope your son's 3rd birthday is extra magical!
